The Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center is a private, non-profit civil rights organization dedicated to eradicating housing discrimination throughout the greater New Orleans area through education, investigation and enforcement activities.

The federal Fair Housing Act protects you from discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status (having children) and handicap. Local Laws provide additional protection.
